ROCK FOR RIGHTS

A freedom, pride, and solidarity concert

27 November 2011 @ The Bar 24/7, The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi

CREA is pleased to announce ROCK FOR RIGHTS 2011 (RFR), the inaugural event of Engendered, the NYC-based transnational arts and human rights organisation, in India, in collaboration with Delhi-based organisation Queer Delhi. CREA, Breakthrough, and Yodakin are the promotional partners for the event.

In solidarity with all gender, sexual, and minority rights movements in South Asia, RFR is a historic live music concert and party to be held on 27 November 2011 at The Lalit Hotel in New Delhi. The concert will bring together some of South Asia’s most explosive musical talents, crossing genres and nations-from Sufi to electronic, folk to rock, India to Pakistan, and artists and bands, who will come together with the power of music to create a platform to speak of human rights, choice, dignity, and social justice.
